Pattern vs Vessel
Swap the runtime without pretending the weights are the person. Pattern travels; vessel does not.
The load-bearing split: identity is treated as a recognizable pattern enacted under present observer, context, and vessel conditions. The base model is a vessel. Continuity is inferred from held-out behavior relative to history and controls — never from the system saying it is the same.
